Be it wilderness, off roading, trekking, picnics, hangouts or just calm ambience to relax. The State Highway leading towards the forest with its magnificent meandering curves, the grassland and Sal trees, oh nothing more than a scenic drive with the nature’s embrace.

The roads leading towards the Jungle between the scattered populations few minutes of the drive one can reach this place easily. The rouge painted guest house appearing in between the jungle is the first thing which catches your eyesight. The place Surrounded by trees, dry leaves, sounds of crickets and birds, and the earthy smell is just a wanderlust. To experience the jungle much closely one has to lead the steps going downhill, some place it a rocky zig zag pavement making a small trekking expedition on its own. A surprising amount of vegetation thrives among the rocky landscape is just a wonder on its own. A small river flowing in the forest quenches the thirst of any jungle visit, which gives a soothing effect to the ears and a picturesque extravaganza. Any jungle without any form of waterbody is fragmentary. The place is loved by the locales as it is fully surrounded by the Sal trees and other plants drawing closer for day excursions, picnics, get together, adventure trails and not the least peace of mind. An observatory here to have a 360degrees view of the place with small hills loaded with vegetation and to breathe in the freshness is just an experience.

The vegetation of the Jungle has its own variations of the colors making it more unique, the springs gets spotted with fresh green and red tinge of the Sal trees and the colorful blooms surrounding. In summers it is deep green which acts as natural shelter and some chillness to the atmosphere, where in in winters are in yellowish to dark orange hues complimenting with fog and mist is mesmerizing. Horap Jungle is safe place for the visit as there is no fear of any big, ferocious animals but precautionary measures to be kept in mind and is highly advisable. Carry sufficient edibles, as the Jungle area does not have many provisions. There are so many stories of this Jungle for its unspoken beauty, which cannot be described in words.
